Hey folks! Its so gosh darn cold here today, everyone is staying in doors! I just canceled my dentist appointment in Hayward, because its just to cold to go out. The horses spent the night in the barn, bunked down with hay and grain. And the dogs are in the house, and it ain't warming up! Even the sun looks cold this morning. But at -20, everything looks cold!
So a few nights ago I was listening to the radio (I realize many of my conversations start this way) and I heard a new song by Rodney Atkins called "Family". After listening to the first verse I knew it was gonna be a good one! Ya'll need to hear it!! Its SO us! It'll make you laugh because everyone knows me and everyone knows how I feel about family! All I'm saying is Tiffany, if your reading this, you should feel special! You don't get my kinda honest from just anyone! You get it from "Family." Pete and Kelli, you should feel special too! ;) I am seriously part of the BEST family ever!
Not only was it written about my family, but I can also relate it to my congregation! I seriously am part of the COOLEST congregation ever! Where else can you go to meeting and actually joke about the football game in the middle of watchtower? Solon Spring baby! That's the place! We are the biggest quilt family I have ever seen! We're made up of the funkiest types of people, and yet we all go great together! We don't care if you got the latest fashion, we don't care if you say crap in the mic (but I wouldn't encourage it), or if you forget what you were saying half way through your comment, or if you comment with out the mic at all! We don't care if you don't know your own name (Mikayla), or want to talk about the football game, and even if you have the LAMEST jokes on the planet, we still want to hear em! (snapshot) "I didn't choose em, but I'd hate to loose em!" I love our congregation!
I'm gonna post the song on here, cuz I need everyone to hear this song. This song was totally written with us in mind! ;) This is gonna be the theme song for next years 4th of July part-a!!
