God is Great, Beer is Good, and People are Crazy

Hey guys! Hows it going? I haven't checked in for awhile! I bet your all wondering where I've been! Well, to tell you the truth, I would much rather have fallen of the face of the earth to drift around with the stars in space!! How much fun would that be? Instead I have been on earth hanging out with my awesome peeps, helping to plan a wedding for one of the best!!

So a few nights ago the bridal party and I spent the day in Duluth shopping for wedding supplies!! We have a list of things to that needs to be done, picking bridesmaid dresses at the top! I had no idea how much fun bridal shops are! Walking into a bridal shop is liking walking into a dream closet! You take your shoes off and you walk on carpet, their are chairs and couches all around for spectators, racks and racks and racks of endless amounts dresses in all kinda colors  and (my favorite part) ENDLESS amounts of mirrors!! Who doesn't love to look at themselves in the mirror.. oh wait! No one loves to look at themselves in the mirror.. unless you are part of an amazing bridal party.. in that case your gonna look hot!

So I was talking with someone and we were talking about our favorite scriptures.. and I realized I didn't really have one.. I was disappointed with my self at first. And then I thought about it for a minute and I knew what scripture was my favorite.. its a scripture that REALLY pushed me to get baptized when I did.

My favorite scripture is (Philippians 4:6) Its an amazing scripture and really gets me through a lot.  When our whole world and all that we know is falling apart, Jehovah is the only one is standing strong, there for us to hold on to. Some days.. when I feel like I just can't take another step in life, I remember what really matters and it lightens all the rest! And I remember that through it all, Jehovah takes care of us and anything is possible when we have him on our side.

So whats your favorite scripture and why do you love it?

  1. Well, it used to be (Heb. 11:11) because it has my name in it, (the heart of a child)...
And now it's (Prov. 19:13)-it reminds me to be a good wife and not be negative because it can drive people away. In my marriage, my actions are just as important as my husbands-and I tend to be much more negative than him. So I have to do my part to keep us strong.
